Professional reflections

IPP Parole & Rehabilitation

"Exemplar Justice Advisory provided structured and intensive support during my IPP recall and parole preparation. Adam's work included expert coaching, ten one-to-one sessions focused on HMPPS-directed offending behaviour work and recovery-focused support grounded in twelve-step principles and the Twelve Concepts for Service. Adam also supported my progression into accredited education by assisting me to enrol on the NEBOSH International General Certificate through the Prisoners’ Education Trust. I was granted release by the Parole Board in February 2025".

Ste. R (IPP sentence, second recall)

Complex IPP Parole Preparation

"Exemplar Justice Advisory provided specialist support for my highly complex IPP parole case involving a long tariff and issues of denial of guilt. Adam undertook a detailed review of my parole dossier, carried out targeted research, developed a structured parole strategy, and prepared comprehensive written representations for my first Parole Board hearing. Our work also included specialist coaching, CBT-based interventions, progression, training, and employment planning and the preparation of comprehensive written representations. In January 2026, I was granted progression to Category D by the Parole Board".

Steven. S (IPP sentence, 14-year tariff)

High Secure Hospital Tribunal & Release

"Exemplar Justice Advisory provided highly specialist support in preparation for my complex mental health tribunal while I was detained in high secure conditions. Adam's work included multiple visits, tribunal preparation, attendance at CPA meetings with senior clinicians, family support and coordination with specialist mental health solicitors. As a result, I progressed from high secure to medium and then low secure conditions and ultimately achieved release through tribunal and the Parole Board in 2021".
